My name is Joshua Schnell, I’m a senior at Michigan State University and Project Manager of the MSU branch of the Religious Soundmap Project of the Global Midwest. I’ll be graduating this spring with two degrees in anthropology and religious studies before heading to grad school to pursue my PhD in anthropology. I study archaeology, specifically the archaeology of death and mortuary ritual. I also hold an undergraduate fellowship in the MSU Bioarchaeology Lab, and I’m an Undergraduate Research Ambassador for Social Science and Arts and Letters this year! I also love being outside and I’m obsessed with board games!
