Gabriella Papper is currently a sophomore at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. As a Gibbons fellow, Gabriella researched “What Could Joshua Chamberlain See at Gettysburg?” this summer with Professor Hall as her mentor. Gabriella used GIS, Gephi, and XML to visualize and understand Chamberlain’s position at Little Round Top. She plans to continue to employ these tools in other disciplines, such as government and romance languages. Gabriella is currently working with Professor Crystal Hall to expand Bowdoin’s Digital and Computational Studies Initiative.
